Learning Assistance Program Technical Working Group

The Learning Assistance Program (LAP) is Washington's state-funded program (WAC 392-162 and Chapter 28A.165 RCW) that provides additional academic support to eligible students.

Purpose
The LAP Technical Working Group (TWG) was convened to submit recommendations to the Quality Education Council (QEC) regarding program design, student outcomes, funding drivers and an adequate funding level for the Learning Assistance Program. The TWG shall make preliminary recommendations to the QEC by September 2010 and a final recommendation by November 5, 2010.
