The Internal Needs Assessment Handbook intends to assist schools in examining ways they can most effectively increase educator capacity and improve student achievement. The handbook uses a research-based framework for assessing school leadership, instructional strategies, and systems practices. It includes instructions for an eight-step process for measuring the extent to which a school currently implements these practices.
