State Performance Plan (SPP)/Annual Performance Report (APR)

Under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004, the OSPI Special Education Section is required to submit a six-year state performance plan (SPP) to the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) that incorporates twenty performance indicators (provided by OSEP), activities and targets for each indicator. In addition, OSPI must report annually, Washington State’s progress and activities for each of those performance indicators and must report publicly each district's progress for indicators 1-14. The district level data for those fourteen performance indicators are provided in the District Profiles. The district profile link provides an overall picture by individual district.
