ESSB 6195 - Compensation Data Collection

This page is designed to provide you with materials and general guidance with respect to the compensation data collection required under section 3 of ESSB 6195 passed in the 2016 legislative session.

This data collection is to be completed and submitted to OSPI by July 29th, 2016. OSPI will forward all files to the Washington State Institute of Public Policy, and their hired consultant (3rd Sector Intelligence) for review and analysis.

The first three worksheets are tools to help identify the amount and supplemental pay categories (and sub-categories) for which additional compensation above state salary is paid. For these sheets, you will need access to your district employee information by supplemental contract or stipend to complete (at an individual staff level). The last worksheet is to help us identify your F196 expenditures (by program) by source of funding. To fill out this sheet, you will need detailed information from your revenue and expenditures (SY 2014-15). All worksheets are pre-populated with 2014-15 school year data from either the S275 or the F196.

Please complete all worksheets by following the instructions tab in each individual sheet. Once finished, email all four sheets and source documents to Michelle Matakas at OSPI at michelle.matakas@k12.wa.us. Please include your district name and "ESSB 6195 data submission" in the subject of your email.
