Washington State Data from the 2012 Speak Up Survey
The Speak Up National Research Project collects and reports data on STEM-related topics and the use of educational technology among K-12 students, their families, educators, administrators, and the edtech staff who support technology-enriched teaching and learning.

The Speak Up team shares this authentic data directly with federal, state and local policymakers as a way to inform decisions related to education funding, K-12 programming and policy development. Since 2003, over 2.6 million surveys have contributed to Speak Up reports.

Julie Evans is the chief executive officer for Project Tomorrow, the parent organization that sponsors the Speak Up survey, which closed December 14, 2012. Evans led a webinar for Washington state educators interested to find out how Washington’s Speak Up data compared with national results.
