CenturyLink/OSPI Teachers & Technology Grant Program
CenturyLink supports a competitive grant program — Teachers &
Technology — designed to recognize K-12 educators who are creative
technology integrators. The grant program awards $10,000 to each of nine
teachers or teacher teams in Washington state. Teachers & Technology was funded formerly by the Qwest Foundation.
Congratulations to Our 2012 Grant Award Winners!
Winning projects come from across Washington, ready to launch a series of
creative and challenging learning experiences in the 2012-13 school year.
Students will develop a competition-level robot primed to take the field at a
regional meet, make documentaries that investigate why populations migrate to
specific areas, design and fabricate 3D product models, and much more. The
variety and scope of our 2012 learning projects touch all core subjects, and
integrate state learning standards with Web 2.0 technologies.
CenturyLink & Qwest
CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) acquired Qwest Communications and completed their merger on April 1, 2011, creating the nation's third largest telecommunications company in the United States.
