Candidates going through the full candidate process—Take One!, Re-Take, and Renewal candidates—have access to facilitators.
Interested in attending a facilitator training? Let us know!
Universities and school districts hire facilitators to support candidates through the certification process.
Facilitator Training
To ensure consistency across the state, facilitators are asked to take Facilitator I and Facilitator II training prior to hosting a cohort group. To hone facilitation knowledge and skills, additional specialty trainings are recommended. OSPI offers facilitation professional development.
- Facilitator I training and Facilitator II training coincide with day two of the WEA Jump Start sessions.
- Specialty Trainers coincides with day three of the WEA Jump Start sessions.
- Register for training on WASBO (You do not need to be a WASBO member for OSPI-sponsored trainings and events)
