Newly Certified Candidates
The NBCT bonus is directed and funded by the Washington state legislature. OSPI manages the disbursement of these bonuses through the iGrant system. Districts have until June 15, 2013 to submit the names of their NBCTs. The bonuses are then dispersed in July in that district’s apportionment. Districts can submit at any time during the year between January 2013 and June 15th, 2013. Newly certified NBCTs are eligible for 60% of the National Board bonus during their first year of certification only. Each subsequent year is the full amount.
